Former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia had been attacked by Awami activists

  • Attackers armed with iron rods surrounded the car of Khaleda Zia
  • Shots were fired at the bullet-proof vehicle as it drove off
  • Awami Activists were seen with Awami supported candidate Anisul during his election campaign
  • Police took no action against Awami terrorists.
