security forces !!!!! the word is now sucks...... these so called forces are killing weaponless peoples and for me they are the real terrorists.

.... protestors who are supporting elected government are using brick chips , lumbers and stones.... as they have been attacked with  automatic gun , heavy weapons , riot cars , different kinds of bombs by the armed forces who took over power by removing an elected president illegally.

see how an elected  government being demolished by weapons. how weaponless general peoples are being killed.

Police Removed the Gonojagoron Moncho from Shahbag

On 06/05/2013 early morning police has removed the stage that was set by Gonojagoron Moncho at the heart of the city shahbag junction. Almost about 3 months the road was blocked by the stage.

Gonojagoron moncho has been demanding for death execution  of the charged persons by the controversial International Crimes Tribunal formed by the current Government,  and their other demand has been to band the country's third largest political party and the coyntry's  largest islamic party,  duly registered,  Bangladesh Jamate Islami.

Since its (The Gonojagoron moncho) formation Government provided food,  water, sanitation facilities for the activists of the Gonojagoron moncho from Government fund. During This long time the road (shahbag junction) was blocked by the police and Rab. The activists occupied the road 24 hours a day,  7 days a week, non stop,  Unlike any other party including country's largest opposition party BNP who are only allowed to continue their protest or gathering for couple of hours of a day.

The junction was a important one in the capital city. There are couple of hospitals (country's largest ones) namely Bongonondhu Sheikh Mujib Medical college & Hospital,  Birdem Hospital, and a five star hotel Hotel Ruposhi Bangla, public library and also the National musium just at the Shahbag junction.
During this long time people had to suffer a lot to reach to the hospital even to get out of it. Roads surrounding shahbag had extra traffic, and extra jam adding the woes of the dhaka's citizens. The 5 star Hotel (Ruposhi bangla) lost a lot of its customers. During this long time citizens suffered but could not utter a word against it. Because of the direct Government support.

At last thankfully Government decided to wrap it up. And the citizens are relieved.

Strike

BNP  and 18 party alliance has called nation wide strike for 36 hours on 27/03/2013 and 28/03/2013.

At the first day of the strike the leading opposition party BNP and 18 party alliance including Bangladesh Jamate Islami has broght procession in support of the strike in different important parts of the capital city. All private shops,  markets were closed. Very few shops were open beside some narrow roads. Very few public transport was available at the city and almost no private cars or transport were seen at the capital. Lots of rickshaw,  auto rickshaw,  and some CNG auto rickshaw were seen in numbers everywhere in the capital city,  even in VIP roads. there was no traffic jam. Although police and rab are there in numbers present all over the city,  regular business in the capital was not present and not even close. The Government party claimed just opposite and said there was no effect of the strike.

The Government party also brought procession against the strike.

There were some coctail explosions in different parts of the city as well as attack on transports by supporters of the strike.

Police,  Rab in different parts of the capital made gun shots in processions of the opposite party.

Funny thing (to me) is that Government party claims that there is no effect of strike in regular business,  transportation  and activities and at the same time they also say that every strike causes huge economic losses. I don't understand that if there is no effect and everything is normal and every people rejected the strike then how such loss could occur?
